  • 1. Why are the prices of the packages exclusive of flights?

    We offer our packages without travel costs because we do not know from where you are booking and from where you wish to travel. A person can book a trip from France, Germany or Japan, and naturally the price of the different flights will not be the same. In order to make our prices as transparent as possible for our customers, we have opted to present a price for a package deal exclusive of the flight, although we do offer the option of booking the flight. Should you be considering a package, you can ask us for price quotes for flights.

  • 2. Can I book from anywhere in the world?

    You can book a trip with us from anywhere in the world. As soon as we have your details, our experience will allow us to realise this for you.

  • 3. Is Scot Reizen NV insured?

    Scot Reizen NV is insured in accordance with all statutory provisions which apply in Belgium. This insurance has been taken out with De Europese.

  • 4. Do I need travel assistance insurance?

    We recommend that you take out travel assistance insurance with your local insurance broker. This insurance can be perfectly aligned to your wishes and requirements, whereby account will be taken of the obligations which apply in your country.

  • 5. Do I need cancellation insurance?

    Because we operate all over the world, it is not possible to create a standard cancellation insurance. We do recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. You can go to your local insurance broker, who will offer you insurance which is in accordance with the obligations and conditions which apply in your country. You can also take out cancellation insurance with us. However, because we are not insurance brokers and we have to offer a comprehensive worldwide policy, the cost price of this cancellation insurance is 5% of the price of the package.   • 6. Who are the partners of Scot Reizen NV?

    Scot Reizen is affiliated with Selectair and VVR (Vereniging van Vlaamse Reisbureaus), which enables it to guarantee good service. Scot Reizen is also an IATA (International Air Traffic Association) agent, with licence number 08-26762 6.

  • 7. How can you reserve a package?

    If you want to reserve a package and you agree to our general conditions you can fill in the Reservation Form and send it to us. As soon as we have received your reservation form we will process your application.
    Because only a limited number of participants can register per package, it is important that we receive your application in time. Once we have processed your reservation, we will send you a confirmation of the booking. Your booking will only be definite after we have received a down payment (30% of the total amount).

  • 8. Who put the packages together?

    The packages have been put together by the Artcitytrips artistic team. We are probably the only travel organiser whose packages are put together by artists who actually work in the opera and music world. Through their experience you will have a completely different insight into this world, something that can be considered quite unique. Their years of experience and contacts in the world of opera and concerts guarantee a selection in which quality and contents dominate.

  • 9. Can I take an option on a package?

    If you are not yet completely certain about a particular package or if you have to make some arrangements first, you can apply for an option for this package. Up to 60 days before departure we can hold an option on a package for you for a maximum of 48 hours. If the term for departure is shorter than 60 days, the option is valid for a maximum of 24 hours. In order to apply for an option you must use the Option Form.

  • 10. When is the best time to book?

    Many of the factors which determine the total price of a package are cheaper if they are booked far in advance. You will see that prices of flights increase significantly the later you book. The most important reason to book early is, however, the limited number of places available per package. We make contracts with our hotels and once the number of places available under these contracts have been taken, the same rooms can only be booked for a price outside of the contract. Unfortunately this always means an increase in the package price. You can avoid this by booking in time.

  • 11. Is local transport included in the price?

    Because conditions in every country are different, we have not included local transport in the price. This gives you complete freedom of choice according to your own preferences and circumstances.

  • 12. Can the packages be extended?

    You can always add extra nights to our packages. This must be requested when booking the package. This is very difficult to realise afterwards.

  • 13. Are "tailor-made" individual packages possible?

    This is an option. Just contact us with your wishes so that we can make a suitable proposal. You can use the Information Form.

  • 14. Can changes be made to the programme of a package?

    Cancellation by a performing artist due to illness or an accident is unavoidable from time to time. The concert organiser usually resolves this problem by providing a replacement of equivalent standing. In the event a performance or event is cancelled, we will do our utmost to offer an equivalent alternative if possible.
